I’m a Brighton-based researcher working towards a doctorate in anthropology at Oxford University. I bring plenty of queer rage and feminist curiosity to my research and everyday life. I’m happiest when I’m learning.

At the heart of my work is an attentiveness to bodies – these funny, powerful, touchy-feely flesh suits that carry our histories and mark our presence in the world, but that we often dismiss. You can read about my current research here.

After working with a number of trans people with disordered eating in long-term research for the last year, I am now inviting others to share experiences, insights, and memories. If you are 18+, UK-based, trans and have a difficult relationship with food, eating, and/or exercise, you are invited to have your say at an interview in November or December 2018.

More info at taking part.
